Download Tabless
One download, nothing else to install. On Linux it is a single AppImage with Qt inside.
You’re on a phone, and this is a desktop app. Open this page on your computer.
Windows
The installer adds a Start menu entry and an uninstaller. The portable zip runs from any folder.
macOS
Open the disk image and drag Tabless into Applications.
Linux
Make the AppImage executable and run it — Qt comes inside.
chmod +x tabless-v0.8.5-linux-x86_64.AppImage ./tabless-v0.8.5-linux-x86_64.AppImage
One file with Qt inside; installs nothing into the system.
git clone https://github.com/sectapunterx/tabless.git cmake -S tabless -B build -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release cmake --build build -j
Needs Qt 6.9 or newer and a C++20 compiler, on any of the three systems.
Updates
On start the app asks GitHub for a newer version and installs it only when you click Update. The check can be turned off in Settings → About.
Coming from lowkey or heap
Your data is copied to the new folder once, on the first start; the old folder stays where it was. lowkey finds this version through its own update check.
Uninstall
Remove the app, or just delete the AppImage. Your data folder stays until you delete it.
